After summarizing the research literature about abatement cost of carbon emissions, this pa- per constructs and deduces a theoretical model to analyze the theory of internal decision mechanism between fossil energy prices and marginal abatement cost of carbon emissions, and then conducts empirical analysis through co - integration test, Granger causality and Error Correction Model, confuaning the interactive rela- tionship between marginal abatement cost and energy prices, which becomes important factors influencing global energy consumption, price formation and emission reduction policies.
