After Five Dynasties Period, the image of Liu Zhiyuan transformed from history to literature, and became the famous opera role. According to the historical and literature analysis, we can find that this evolution had profound historical background, because of the ＂Debate of Hua Yi＂ and prosperous culture in Northern Song Dynasty, and the influence of Northern Han State＇s immigrant, Liu Zhiyuan became a complete literature image. This evolution reflected the Psychological needs of common people and elites group＇s demand of maintained the orthodox. Therefore, the process revealed that the life of literature image must be recognized by several social classes, and then could become popular in the society.
