O3 formed from the photochemical smog was the most danger and widespread component in the atmospheric pollution. In recent years the concentration of O3 was increasing rapidly, which had a great effect on the physiological characteristics of plant. The research on the impact of O3 on plant has been already a key subject in the field of ecology. O3 pollution induced more seriously adverse effect on plant. The elevated O3 resulted in the typical visible foliar injury symptoms, decreasing the crop yield and biomass, lowering the stomatal conductance, inhibiting the photosynthesis significantly, increasing leaf membrane permeability and decreasing antioxidative ability.
