NF - κB is widely expressed in the central nervous system and plays an important role in the physiological and pathological states. NF - κB plays an very important role in synaptic plasticity and myelin formation and has double roles of nerve protection and nerve injury. But the factors effecting double roles are unknown. Now structure of NF - κB, structure of inhibitor κB and IκB signaling pathway are studies a little more.
