The environment was considered in which a single enterprise used its general components inside. Assuming that there was a multilecheloned production system in an enterprise, then the inventory level and the related costs of its using general components were analyzed and a multi-echeloned inventory model was set up. it was supposed that for a multi-echeloned production system, the decision that general components should be used in which procedure could be made by comparing the difference of the costs between using and not using general components. The optimized basic inventory level of the procedure in each stage was also solved.
