A liquid crystal adaptive optics imaging system is introduced. A liquid crystal on silicon(LCOS) device is used as a phase wavefront corrector instead of a conversional deformable mirror. As a result , high average correction accuacy with PV=0.08λ and rms=0. 015λ(λ=632.8 nm)is obtained for a clear-cut point source imaging system.
