Independent since 1776, the U.S. has developed from a colonized wasteland into a great power and maintained its rising tendency within less than a century, what are the secrets of its rising and prosperity and what can be learned in developing the economy of BRICs？ The paper holds that although the rising of the U.S. in the 19th century cannot be duplicated, we can find certain traits which will shed a light on the rising of BRICs,
