家蚕从性黑蛾(sex-controlled melanism,sml)发现于西南大学家蚕基因资源库,其雄蛾为灰黑色,雌蛾为白色或略带灰色,是一种典型的从性遗传突变。利用家蚕连锁群(染色体)的形态标记和简单序列重复(SSR)分子标记对sml进行连锁分析的结果是:sml基因与第17连锁群(对应于第17染色体)的分子标记连锁,而与其它连锁群的形态或分子标记均为独立遗传。由此判断sml突变基因位于家蚕第17染色体。研究结果有助于对sml基因的进一步定位、克隆以及突变机制的研究。
The sex-controlled melanism(sml) in silkworm(Bombyx mori) is a typical sex-controlled genetic mutation,which was discovered in the silkworm gene bank at Southwest University.The male moth of this mutant is grayish black and the female moth is white or grayish white.In this study,morphological and simple sequence repeat(SSR) molecular markers on silkworm linkage groups(chromosomes) were used to conduct linkage analysis on sml locus.The results showed that sml gene was linked with molecular markers on the 17th linkage group(corresponding to chromosome 17),but was independent with morphological markers or molecular markers on the other linkage groups.Therefore,sml mutational gene is located on the 17th chromosome of silkworm.This result is beneficial for further studies on mapping,cloning and mutation mechanism of sml gene.
