The elastic collisions are studied by a diagrammatic method,based on introducing several new physical quantities such as convected momentum,relative momentum and so on.The results showed that the diagrammatic method may provide a visual and vivid description of an elastic collision.The diagrammatic method may have important theoretical and practical values to the investigation on elastic collisions.
