This paper, through establishing a comprehensive climate comfort evaluation index, calculating the decadal anomaly of the comprehensive climatic comfort index and conducting the Mann-Kendall mutation test, analyzes the variation characteristics of the comprehensive climate comfort index of 51 years in Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Area.The results show that： the annual comprehensive climate comfort index and the comprehensive climate comfort index of each month tend to develop to the level of＂relatively cool or cool, with some feel uncomfortable＂or＂comfortable in general＂or＂relatively hot, with some feel uncomfortable＂or＂hot and uncomfortable＂. The annual comprehensive climate comfort index and the comprehensive climate comfort index of most months significantly change in 1980 s and in 1990 s. The comprehensive climate comfort index in the beginning of 21 st Century increases significantly compared to the average one over the years.
