Open innovation process is divided into two subprocesses,which are technology acquisition and technology exploitation.Involving actors encounter many problems in open innovation process,such as Arrow Information Paradox,unequal status of involving actors,identifying useful and nonobvious sources,and fostering a two-sided market.Innovation intermediaries perform three innovation system functions： funding support,networking and collaboration,and other supportive functions.InnoCentive is a typical and famous innovation intermediary,which solved the above problems through scientific mechanics design and function combination.
