Smart home can provide comfortable, safe and convenient living environment, which is the typical application of the Internet of things. With the rapid development of the mobile terminal and mobile communication, controlling the home environment anytime and anywhere is the basic requirement of the smart home. This paper proposes to design mobile terminal software based on Android for smart home. The software can be used to realize the monitoring and controlling of the home equipment anytime and anywhere through the wireless communication network, which can improve the usage convenience of the smart home.
