With the guidance of the theory of TCM constitution, the optimization strategy of research model of the constitution differentiation, disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation in coronary heart disease was proposed based on the current existing problems and puzzles. The optimization strategy was composed from 4 aspects. At first, the study on the constitution classification should be promoted and regulated, and the research method of constitution differentiation should be improved. Secondly, the recognition of the combination of differentiation disease and syndrome in coronary heart disease should be established. Thirdly, the constitution differentiation should be integrated into the disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation in coronary heart disease based on the theory of viscera and syndrome element differentiation. Fourthly, the pathogenesis basis for the same disease with different syndromes in coronary heart disease should be revealed by the differential proteomics technology.
