磁流体密封在密封液体时,被密封的液体介质与磁流体接触会引起磁流体乳化、变质,导致密封失效。结合流体力学中的毛细管现象,对磁流体离心密封结构进行改进,即在密封结构中增加一附属结构,在附属结构和旋转轴之间形成一个很小的间隙,利用小间隙产生的毛细作用将密封液体与磁流体分隔开来,防止密封液体对磁流体的影响。试验结果表明,该密封结构具有良好的密封性能,对液体具有更好的密封效果。
Magnetic fluid seal is used for the liquid seal,the magnetic fluid can be emulsified and deteriorated by the sealed liquid medium.Using the capillary phenomenon of hydrodynamics,the magnetic fluid centrifugal sealing structure was improved by adding a subsidiary structure to form a small gap between the axis of rotation and the subsidiary structure.The capillary of small gap can prevent the contact of magnetic fluid and sealed liquid medium.The results of experiments show that the structure has good sealing performance for liquid seal.
