The UDEC2D software is used in establishing strike and dip models to study the roof breaking and strata behavior of fully mechanized working face of steep coal seams.Using these models,we simulate the characteristics roof breaking and strata behavior and the stress distribution of surrounding rocks.The study can be taken for reference by similar coal mining.
