人才地理学对西北人才稀疏区研究的明显缺失以及西北人才地域分异的特殊性使西北地区人才的地域分异规律研究有了自身的意义。文中利用人才的数量、类型以及籍贯等指标借助经济学理论对近现代西北地区人才的分布领域以及地理格局进行了研究,进而探讨其地域分异规律形成原因,揭示影响人才数量、类型以及分布特征的因素。研究发现:近现代时期,西北地区人才数量稀少且地域分布不均衡:陕西人才数量最多,新疆、甘肃等少数民族省份则较少;各地域范围内人才的类型分布也差距很大,其中政治类人物最多,而医疗、工商实业类人物数量稀少。其地域分异特点反映了近现代西北地区的人才分异受经济地理环境、政治、文化等一系列因素的影响,有其自身形成原因。
The study on Northwest China where the talents are sparse is obviously deletion in personnel geography and the regional difference of talents in this area is special, so, a study on the regularity of region differences here has its significance. With the help of economics theories, selecting talents'quantity, type, native place and so on as the research indexes, the fields and geographical pattern of talent distribution in Northwest China in modern time was pointed out. Based on this, the forming reasons of the regularity of regional differences were discussed, and the factors which influenced the talents" quantity, type, and distribution were revealed. The results showed the number of talents in northwest was rare, and its distribution was imbalance ; the number of talents in Shaanxi Province was the highest, far more than it was in Gansu and Xinjiang Province; the distribution of talents type in one region was imbalance, most talents were centralized in political field, medical field, industry and commence field were lack of talents. All these characteristics reflected that effected by economic geography condition, politics, culture and some other factors, the formation of talent difference in northwest china had its own reasons in the modern time.
