On the basis of the two models of traffic network evolution, a new rail transit network evolution model was established that is consist with the law of urban rail transit system. The simulation was conducted on the Matlab software,and characteristics of the topological structure for the model were analyzed. By comparing with three reality rail transit transport networks in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, the effectiveness of the model was verified.
