为了增强高速水声通信中信息传输的可靠性,采用了性能优越的Turbo码和OFDM相结合的方法,并与传统的卷积码进行了性能比较.仿真结果表明,在水声通信可以接受的信噪比范围内,采用Turbo码的误码性能明显优于无信道编码和卷积编码;在带宽利用率相同时使用该方案的水声通信系统性能优于无信道编码和卷积码.因此,把Turbo码与OFDM相结合的传输体制可以明显提高水声通信系统的传输速率和可靠性,从而在水声通信中具有良好的应用前景.
In order to enhance the reliability of high-speed underwater acoustic (UWA) communication systems, turbo code and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) were combined. Their joint performance was then compared with that of convolutional code. Simulation results proved that within the acceptable limit of signalto-noise ratio, this method has better performance than other methods which do not use channel code, or use convolutional code in UWA communication. This applies when using the same modulation method, or using a different modulation method that has the same bandwidth efficiency. Therefore, the combination of turbo code and 0FDM should improve reliability and increase transmission rates, and has good prospects for application in underwater a- coustic communication.
