研究了温度对海洋微型异养鞭毛虫Cafeteria roenbergensis的生长率和细胞体积的影响,观察了细胞体积在不同生长期的变化。结果显示,当食物浓度满足饱和摄食要求时,在12~28℃的实验温度区间内,该种异养鞭毛虫的生长速率随温度升高而加快,生长率为0.19~2.09d-1;不同培养温度和不同生长期的鞭毛虫平均细胞体积有很大差异,最大平均细胞体积均出现在开始进入指数生长期的阶段;20℃和28℃条件下,C.roenbergensis分别于接种后48、36h平均细胞体积达到最大,分别为31.92和26.03um3,是实验初始阶段细胞体积的304%和253%,其后,细胞体积逐渐减小,但仍明显大于初始阶段的细胞体积。研究表明,不同温度下该鞭毛虫的生长适应策略可能存在差异。
Effect of temperature on the growth of a marine heterotrophic nanoflagellate Cafeteria roenbergensis was studied. The results showed that, without food limitation, the growth rate of C. roenbergensis was O. 19 - 2.09 d - 1 and increased with incubation temperature from 12℃ to 28℃. The cell volume of the fagellate varied greatly at different incubation temperature and different growth phases, with maximum cell volume at initial stage of exponential growth phase. At 20℃ and 28℃ , the maximum cell volume of C. roenbergensis occurred at 48 and 36 h after incubation, respectively, when the cell volume was 31.92 and 26.03um3 , equivalent to 3 and 2.5 times of that at the beginning of incubation, respectively. Our results imply that different growth adaptation strategies may be adopted by the flagellate at different incubation temperature.
