In history,Guizhou enjoyed a good ecological environment with rich water resources and a wide variety of animals and plants resulting in many ecological place names. Afterwards,the ethnic culture in dominant areas was not compatible with the environment,leading to changes of the local environment and place names. Making a study of the changing rules and the ecological environment of these areas is of great benefit for the ecological construction and economic development of Guizhou Province.
