With the accelerated process of urbanization and population growth,urban construction in the world is gradually moving forward from the densely populated plain areas to better natural endowments mountainous areas.Therefore,scientific planning and construction of mountainous cities are increasingly becoming important topics in the process of urbanization all over the world.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between mountain and city in structures,function and landscape,the article explores how to deal with space layout,landscape construction as well as topics such as hillside construction combining different topography in the modern urban design.
