A new recorded species of Euonymus microcarpus （Oliv.） Sprague, belonging to Euonymus, Celastraceae, from Shanxi was reported, and which was found in the Yuanzhong, Yuanqu, Shanxi on August 20,2015. E. microcarpus is unique evergreen species of Euonymus, Celastraceae in Shanxi. Up to now, this species distributes only in Hubei, Shaanxi, Henan,Sichuan and Yunnan,China, however, it is not found and reported in Shanxi. Now, there are altogether 10 species and 1 varity of Euonymus in Shanxi.
