Under the background of economic upgrading and education transformation, vocational colleges should directly bear the responsibilities of training technical personnel and managerial staff for the economic and social development. Through the researches of vocational teachers ’ lifelong learning ability, curriculum implementation ability, information technology ability and teaching research ability, the author summarizes how to promote vocational teachers ’ core competence, in the aim of scientifically guiding and enhancing the teachers ’ core literacy, and promoting the overall school - running level in vocational education. At the same time, it provides some useful reference for the training and development of vocational school teachers.
