Starting from the capability of system-of-systems （SoS）, accurately describing the relations between entities and constructing the architecture model is the foundation of SoS design and analysis, and also the key to capability-based planning of SoS. The mapping rules of capabilities to component systems are first provided. Then, the bipartite-network structure of SoS is built, which is subsequently transformed to the weighted co-network of component systems. As the networked architecture model of SoS, it effectively captures the complex relations between component systems. Finally, an index to measure the relation value is proposed, and then the community structure of the networked architecture model is studied, which can be viewed as a helpful attempt for capability-based planning of SoS.
