In recent years,with the rapid industrialization and urbanization,environment degradation,waste accumulation as well as traffic jams have become the bottle-neck for the sustainable urban socio-economic development.As the experience summary of the sustainable urban development in the past 50 years,the Swedish Symbiocity concept could be a valuable reference to combat with emerging urban development challenges for the world especially for the developing countries.
