The design and implementation of an intelligent turning-box system is presented in the paper. The hybrid optimization strategy is applied to facilitate the turning-box plan. The system builds firstly the objective state of the container stack on the principle and then searches for the steps of turning box using the non-conventional breadth-first search algorithm. The system adopts the method of level design. The system is also the practice of artificial intelligence application in the field of manufacture schedule.
