Coronary heart disease is associated with several factors and genes. Blood stasis is a predominant syndrome of coronary heart disease. The research of genomics and proteomics adopts gene chips, two-dimensional electrophoresis, liquid chromatograph and bio-mass spectrometry. The differential genes and distinct protein were found and the essence of syndromes was shown in genetic and protein levels. Further studies on the function of these differential genes and protein showed that they played a role in the progress of blood stasis in the coronary heart disease and they may be the targets for activating blood circulation herbs.
