Based on the assumption that products' lives follow exponential distribution, the maintenance records were analyzed with the consideration that the overall sample number is unknown. The estimators of parameters in distribution and overall sample number were given, and the strong convergence rate and mean square convergence rate of estimators were obtained. Some estimations of indicators of reliability were also obtained. Finally, the Monte-Carlo simulation was carried out to prove the feasibility and validity of the proposed ways of estimation.
