Traditional Chinese medical records are the important resources of TCM inheritance. There were several shortages of TCM medical record collection, such as low efficiency, simplicity and hard to collate and analyze, etc. With the development of information technology, the TCM medical records collection methods change to the direction of mobile, multimedia and intelligent.Multimedia data of medical cases, such as videos, audios, pictures or other multimedia data, is becoming the key focus of TCM clinicians gradually. Multimedia medical records are the objective storage of TCM clinical data, which could reconstruct the TCM clinical scenarios and provide cases for TCM teaching, and supply data for TCM research and ultimately make contributions to TCM inheritance and development.
