This paper defines the relationship of the scale, base, economic benefit, growth and the competitiveness of circulation industry, establishes the assessment index system of the circulation industry competitiveness, and evaluates Hunan＇s circulation industry competitiveness through applying Principal Component Analysis. The empirical study conclusion shows the unbalanced characteristics of circulation industry development in 14 cities, which deduces the suggestions of improving Hunan circulation industry competitiveness.
