行为时间分配是动物适应环境的重要策略之一。通过测定高纤维食物对黄毛鼠的取食、活动、休息和理毛等行为的时间分配,发现黄毛鼠为典型的夜行性动物,高纤维食物可增加其夜间取食时间并减少夜间活动时间,而对休息和理毛行为无影响。研究结果表明,黄毛鼠适应高纤维食物的行为对策是增加摄食保证能量摄入,减少活动节约能量。
The time distribution was one of important behavioral adaptive strategies in animals. The effects of high fibre food on the time distribution of feeding, locomotion, resting and grooming in Rattus losea were determined. The results showed that Rattus losea was a kind of typical nocturnal rodent, and high fibre food would lead to increase in feeding time and decrease in activity time, but it had no effects on time of resting and grooming. It indicated that Ratus losea employ a behavioral strategy including an addition of energy intake and a reducing of energy output to adapt the high fibre food.
