In recent years, some universities have referred to the traditional Chinese system of academy of classical learning and the foreign residential system of college system in education model reform, and established learning and living communities and constructed a new-type teaching and education platform with academy as the unit. Meanwhile, universities themselves shoulder the mission of cultivating senior professional talents with both in- novative spirit and practical spirit, developing scientific and technological culture, and promoting socialist modernization con- struction, so university students are required to focus on the soci- ety. Based on the above, we should consider how to cultivate uni- versity students＇ strong sense of social responsibility and broad international horizons, enhance their consciousness of paying at- tention to current affairs under the academy system, in order to conform to the requirement of quality improvement in undergrad- uate education.
