This paper analyzed the influencial factors and the mechanism of the electroplastic effect （EPE） and discussed its applications in plastic forming. Specially, the applications of EPE in plastic forming in-cluding micro forming and incremental forming etc. were also forecasted. This will supply references to the applications of EPE in plastic forming.
