After the founding of new China, the Chinese communist party＇s understanding of the concept of green development became gradually clear in socialist construction practice and began the exploring process of green development path. It roughly experienced three stages： A preliminary exploration about the green development of our party after the founding of the country and the early reform and opening up; inoculation and form of sustainable development strategy; opening China new era ecological civilization and green development. Theoretical exploration and practical innovation of the concept of green development during the different historical period of the party, injected the era characteristics into the ideas of Marxist ecological civilization, which promote the realization of the dream about the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation ecological.
