Most of cppper deposits associated with granite are porphyry copper deposits. The study on partitioning behavior of copper between melt and aqueous fluid is of great significance for the further understanding of the formation of porphyry copper deposits. The paper summarizes the experimental researches on copper partitioning between melt and aqueous fluid and dwells on the effect of melt and fluid on copper partitioning. Some problems that are still unsolved were also raised.
