The paper tried to introduce ＂symbiosis theory＂ to deconstruct the city-lake linkage mode.It viewed the city lakes and urban development as two complex organic population and from five levels （the industrial development,urban-rural construction,spatial organization,ecological restoration and cultural protection）analysed the symbiotic model.And it took recreational belt around Chaohu lake for example,under the background of city lake linkage,probed into the development model of recreational belt around Chaohu lake,problems and the ways to solve for city-lakes linkage.
