Considering of the weakness of the traditional retrieval method based on keyword matching, the paper introduces semantic into traditional information retrieval, and proposes a frame of semantic retrieval model based on ontology. It combines the information retrieval method and semantic query technology, and can realize semantic query of retrieval information on the base of knowledge repository of ontology. Then we study ontology construction and semantic reasoning, which are the key technology of semantic retrieval.
