The growth conditions of AWCS13 -4 were studied using single factor and orthogonal test in 4 culturemedium of YMA, TY, PA and BSE. The results showed that AWCS13 -4 grew better in culture medium ofYMA than in others. The best carbon source, nitrogen source, pH value, inoculation amount and temperaturewere saccharose, yeast powder, pH 7.0, 3% and 30℃ respectively. On the basis of single factor, orthogonalexperiment was used to optimize the 4 factors. The best culture conditions were 10 g saccharose, 0.2 g SO4·7H_2O 0.2 g,K2HPO40.5 g,NaCl 0.1 g,CaCl_2·5H_2O 0.05 g, 4 mL Rh microelement solution in 1 L culture medi-um, pH 7.0, inoculation amount of 3% and culture temperature of 30℃.
