Magnetic Fe3Si thin films have excellent properties,such as high magnetic permeability, high spin polarization etc.,and have extensive application prospects in giant magnetoresistance and spin electronic devices. In this paper, the main preparation methods of Fe3Si thin films are introduced,including molecular beam epitaxy, pulsed laser deposition, ion beam synthesis, magnetron sputtering etc.. The structure, properties and application of Fe3Si thin film are analyzed by studying the recent progress of Fe3Si film at home and abroad.
