To overcome the inadequacy of video network system based on traditional Client/Server mode, this paper designs an operation video educational system based on P2P technology. By analyzing its technological theory, we adopt the single source transmission tree model and discuss the realizing methods of route selection, semantic search, load balance, video files division and transmission modules. Educational practice proves the advantages of the system： great efficiency, good expansibility and low cost. It can be extended to other educational fields.
