英文摘要：

An orthogonal experiment was conducted to study effects of nitrogen （N）, phosphorus（P）, vitamins and trace elements at three levels on growth in alga Arnphidinium carterae Hulburt as a hemolytic toxins producing species found in a red tide. The results showed that the growth of the alga was signifi- cantly affected by P and N elements in stead of trace elements and vitamins, with a descendant order of P N〉 trace elements〉vitamin. The optimal nutritional conditions for the growth of the alga were as the following： nitrogen element 880 μmol/L, P element 108 μmol/L, trace elements 21.1μmol/L, and vitamin 0.96 〉mol/L. The nutritional conditions for red tide of alga were discussed according to the nutrient requirement of the alga.
