Human digit ratio has been proposed as a biomarker reflecting prenatal hormone effects,which is controlled by prenatal androgen,probably related to the human fertility,the aggression tendency,the musical and athletic talent.And it is also associated with some diseases such as autism,depression,myocardium infarction,breast caner,precancerous lesion of cervix.The current study on human digit ratios has already become a heated issue in the fields of crime,psychology,psychiatry,epidemiology and sociology.This paper does a review on the relationship between the digit ratios and aggressive behavior,hormones and genes.
