Epilepsy is a nervous system disease related with convulsion. The pathogenesy is multifold. Clinic therapy is difficult. Human's health is affected seriously. With the development of molecular genetics and pharmacology, pathogenesy of epilepsy has an enormous progression. A lot of investigation indicates that voltage-gated sodium channels play a significant role. This review summarizes the dependability between voltage-gated sodium channels and epilepsy and the interaction of subunits at molecular levels.
