Wireless Mesh Network is a kind of wireless architectures which could be widely applied in many circumstances. This paper presents the characteristics of wireless mesh networks, then describes the system design and construction of a wireless mesh network system, and then discusses the SJTU-MESH testbed application and testing result. Finally this paper, based on the testbed work, gives a conclusion and future perspective view.
