随着现代城市交通的迅速发展,桥梁和隧道日益增多,由超高车辆引发的交通安全事故频繁发生,车辆超高检测技术已经成为城市交通管理研究中的一个热点;这里提出了一种通过双摄像机(分别侧面和正面放置)联合检测并定位超高车辆的新技术,其中提出了一种车辆像素高度归一化方法并且将hough变换、角点检测应用于车辆超高检测;在北京某城市道路上的实验结果显示,该方法不但可以精确地进行车辆超高检测,而且可以有效定位超高车辆所在车道,提高了车辆超高预警系统的可靠性。
Frequent occurrence of traffic accidents is caused by ultra-high vehicle because of the rapid development of modern urban transportation.Ultra-high vehicle detection technology has become a hot research topic of urban traffic management.We develop a new technology to detect ultra-high vehicles through two cameras which were placed on side and positive separately.And we propose a method of vehicle height in pixels normalization and use Hough transform and corner detection in it.Experiment on the road shows that this method not only detect ultra-high vehicle accurately and locate its lane effectively.
