The connotation construction pursues the value of quality and outstanding features with the intention ofdeepening and improving the sustainable development abilities of higher vocational colleges. Only by rationalunderstanding the appropriate configuration of soft power and hard conditions,attaching equal importance to exogenouspressure and endogenous dynamic,developing simultaneously the traditional inheritance and innovation change,as wellas paying equal importance to the research achievement and process accumulation,could higher vocational colleges beactually brought on the orbit of the connotation construction.
