英文摘要：
The main properties of network operation states can be described from limited performance measurements through performance measurement techniques for telecommunication networks. This paper presents a performance measurement method based on the periodic-sampling for tel networks. Through the method the sampling period can be adjusted adaptively according to the variation of network operation states, and the network operation states can be reconstructed from the sampling results. The results of the experiment indicate that the measurement results gained through this method can describe the variance of the network operation states.
