利用环形铸坯直接辗扩成形是一种高效、节能的环件生产工艺,环坯的铸造工艺是保证辗扩成形质量的关键。利用Procast软件对42CrMo大型轴承环件的砂型铸造工艺进行了数值模拟,分析了凝固过程和产生缺陷的原因,在此基础上,采取改变浇注系统、增大冒口尺寸、增加冷铁及气孔等措施,优化铸造工艺,消除了铸件缩孔、缩松等缺陷,实现了内部组织致密。优化工艺的模拟分析结果与实验生产结果相吻合,在保证铸件质量的前提下,节约了金属材料,降低了成本,缩短了工期,提高了生产效率。
Ring rolling directly by means of annular casting blank is an efficient,energy-saving production technique of rings.The casting process of annular casting blank is the key to the quality of rings.The sand casting process of 42CrMo large bearing rings is simulated by Procast software to analyze solidification process and the reasons of defects,and on the basis of which,some measures,including changing the gating system,increasing the riser size,the cold iron and vent,are taken to optimize the casting process,to eliminate the casting shrinkage and other defects.Internal organization of the casting is also compact.The simulation results of new process are in good agreement with that of the practical production,which can save metallic material,lower costs,shorter cycle times and improve production efficiency with good casting quality.
