A high performance, digital slip pulse generator of based on field programmable gate array (FPGA) and micro controller unit (MCU) is introduced in this paper, and the design idea and implementation technology of hardware and software are illustrated. Tests of the pulse generator on MCAs show that the goal of high-precision and high-stabilities to meet requirements of various applications has been realized.
