It is an important function of higher vocational education to serve the local economic society. This paper analyzes problems that exist in the process of higher vocational education serving the local economic society in aspects of government, higher vocational schools, teachers, industry and enterprises, etc. Relevant solutions are provided as well, which is meaningful in some sense to help promote the ability of higher vocational schools serving the local development of economic society.
